Ragamuffin Theatre & Company January 2006 Newsletter, The Anastasis,

To all those who labored with and for us this past year, sacrificing your time, talents, and money - our hearts are truly grateful! We cannot express our appreciation through words alone, but rather through continued diligence and steadfastness of heart, will carry out the purposes and call to which you are a part of. *Together, we will glorify our Father in heaven. Together* we will make a difference in the lives of all He gives us. *Together* we will fight the fight of faith, winning souls, making disciples, extending God’s Kingdom, and standing firm on the ground He gives us. 	Aslan is on the move...or at least we are! This weekend, January 21 & 22, a dedicated team of Ragamuffins will be journeying to Gaylord, MI, where we will present the powerfully anointed drama, The Anastasis. This will be our second outreach at Gaylord Family Fellowship, a warm and loving church - committed to evangelism through the arts. Last year’s presentation of Angel Flight 777 was the beginning of a great friendship, and we are honored to serve such a humble and supportive body of believers. Please pray for God’s blessing on our efforts; for protection, and anointing. Our hearts are prepared, and our hope is sure.	Highlighting the themes of Hebrews 11, concerning faith, persecution and martyrdom, The Anastasis (which means Resurrection in Greek) includes the use of allegory as it weaves together compelling music and intelligent dialogue depicting the epic struggle of good vs. evil in a fresh and creative way. Those who came to our previous performance, at the Charlevoix Assembly of God last November, were compelled, strengthened in faith, and challenged by the message of the Cross. Our journey has been marked by so many changes and faces along the way, and each has played a significant part in our lives no matter how little or great the gift.

OUR GOOSE ON THE LOOSE!
Who would have imagined 6 months ago that our 19 year old would be half way around the world! Only God. And only God can give her parents and siblings the ongoing peace that passes all understanding while she is away. For those interested, she is doing great! Her love for God & compassion for others led to a witnessing opportunity that resulted in a Chinese girl accepting Christ as her Savior! God blesses our obedience, amen? He leaves the 99, & seeks the one.

Brittni has been serving with Youth With A Mission since Sept. 29, 2005. Her DTS was in Kona at University of the Nations, where she has been invited to return as an unpaid staff member after completing her field assignment in China. Thank you for your prayers concerning her safety and spiritual well-being. We covet them. She will be returning home for a short visit at the end of February.

If you still want to support Brittni but have not had a chance as of yet - there is still time! She would so appreciate any gift of encouragement, as her financial needs are great. Please pray about whether or not God would have you to do anything. It’s so important that we support our young people in their quest to obey God by going into all the world!
