New Classes Offered This Fall
While teaching at the University of the Nations in Kona this past July, I met three adorable little girls
who captured my heart unexpectedly. Through their hopeful innocent eyes, I saw God’s reflection - as well as my own.
Their excitement and enthusiasm to learn sparked my desire, prompting me to again open our doors to new and
younger students. Look for more information about beginner’s classes on our website this fall, or in our next
newsletter!

like to thank those of you who prayed for me while I was ministering with YWAM in Kona. It was a very fruitful, life
changing experience. Learning to communicate to mainly Korean speaking students had its challenges, and I sure learned
alot! What an honor to serve such an awesome worldwide ministry. I look forward to the possibility of returning in the
future! They desire to offer a full theatre program on campus and asked us to pray about joining up with them. I’m sure I
could get a team to go with me in January, ya think? |

Dear Friends and Family,
I’m grateful for the opportunity to share with you a little of my journey while here at University of the Nations, Kona.
As many of you know, after returning from China last winter I made the decision to commit 2 more years to missionary work
as YWAM Staff. That means I help minister to the 30 plus international students at our creative arts DTS, teach theater
classes, lead worship, mentor, write, direct, and equip them for our upcoming outreach when we will be presenting a
dramatic multi-media version of the prodigal son. Our days are long (as my mom found out on her recent visit to our campus)
filled with hours of lectures, meetings, prayer, and ministry tasks. I only share this so that you will understand how
thankful I am for your prayers, and encouragement. The notes I’ve received, gifts of support, and emails have touched my
heart - giving me strength when I’ve felt weary, and comfort when I’ve felt alone. Please know how special you are to me!
For those of you who maybe don’t know, the Lord recently opened up the door of opportunity for me to record some of
my own music. I still sing with Soul Chronicle (a Christian rap group) but now have 2 demo songs online for your listening
enjoyment. You can check them out at www.myspace.com/brittnimusic.
The song Sunshine was written as a tribute to my grampa, who is greatly missed.
Thanks for taking the time to read my update, and even more for your love and friendship. I miss you all so much, and look
forward to the month I will have to be together again with my family in December. Until then there is much to do. I’ve
been working on the weekends to help raise money for outreach, but am

still in need of funds. So, if you’ve been wanting
to support me financially but just never found the time, now would be great! That’s about as honest as I can be. You can
