 Look for the Ragamuffins
at the Big Ticket Festival, June 9 & 10, at the Otsego County
Fairgrounds in Gaylord. Festival Organizer, Glen Catt saw our performance of
The Anastasis at the Gospel Center and was so moved that he invited us
to be a part of The Big Ticket Event! |

 Looking back
isnt all bad, but looking forward is even better! Many of you will
remember our journey a year ago, when God closed the doors to our vision
downtown. Of course, we all know that when God closes one door,
He opens a window...somewhere, (at least
thats what the song says). And though its not often easy to trust
and wait, I have found it to always be worth it. Get ready, cause fresh
winds of change are blowing!
It seems the Lord has been guiding us
through an open door at the beautiful and historic Castle Farms in Charlevoix.
I have recently spent some time working on the concept of a weekly dinner
theatre as a way of sowing more seed into our community in keeping with our
marketplace ministry vision. Please pray for us as we go forward. We need the
Lord to give us wisdom and understanding as we look to Him to direct our path.
We will introduce our dinner theatre on June 19th and continue with at least
two more on the following Monday evenings heading into July. We're looking for
more people to get involved, so if you know someone interested, either young or
old, give us a call.
Please pray for creative inspiration, cast
members, and continued favor as we take the necessary steps to finalize our
plans. We are trusting the Lord to give us wisdom and understanding in all our
ways, as He continues to direct our steps. God Bless You! |
Yes, I did fall, and no, I didnt plan it. For
those bewildered, let me explain. During our last outreach, I headed to the
front stage area to sing Resurrection with Brian. I was just about
on the stairs, when I realized my mic wasnt on. While looking down, I
then fell down -in slow motion! There I was, moments away from delivering a
well thought out altar call flat on my back - mind gone blank!
Hmmm, coincidence? I think not. After turning on my mic, I rose to my feet and
began singing, not having a clue as to what I would say next. But God did. I
think, He lovingly allowed me to fall, so I could be emptied of any self
reliance! When I finally did open my mouth to speak, He placed the very
words on my tongue and was for me the steady rock on which I firmly stood!
